Music (Ep 1)
After relentlessly touring their debut record Jackson Square, which garnered the band a top 10 Canadian rock radio hit and a Juno Award for 'New Band of the Year', the Arkells retreated to the legendary Bathouse Studios in Kingston, Ontario to record their sophomore record, Michigan Left. While Michigan Left combines the bombast of Bruce Springsteen, the infectious 80's R&B sounds of Hall & Oates and the delicate studio touches of Spoon, the sound that results is undeniably that of the Arkells.

Music (Ep 3)
Since releasing Hotel Bibles on Toronto punk imprint Black Pint Records in April, Junior Battles has turned into an unintentional road beast. Initially conceived as a lazy, friendly way to hang out and play throwback pop-punk, Junior Battles got a lot more real in the summer of 2009, clocking a girlfriend-troubling number of hours between Ontario, Quebec and the East Coast of the U.S., all the while learning to sleep in new, exciting positions on strange, foreign floors. Touring alongside bands like Bridge and Tunnel, O Pioneers!!!, and North Lincoln, they also snagged spots at S.C.E.N.E. Fest, NXNE and legendary punk mecca, The Fest 8.

Music (Ep 4)

Music (Ep 8)
"Epic-stoner-sludge-pop" would be the best way to describe Toronto's beloved four-piece, Dilly Dally. Katie Monks' songwriting talks about being young and wreckless, feeling crappy, and falling in love with a lot of sexy people... sometimes she also just howls. Drenched in reverb, her best friend Liz Ball on lead guitar swims in and out of Monks' crackling voice. Fuzz petals turned up to high, the epic band still performs with a shy-ish charm playing only to themselves in a room full of howling wolves.

Music (Ep 9)
Joe Chammas grew up in Mississauga writing lyrics but didn't begin playing guitar and finding his own voice until well after his awkward high school years. A year after graduating, a friend brought him to his first open mic and he caught the performance bug which lead him to a string of performances over the next few years from porches and backyards to bars, coffee shops and festivals all around the GTA. He put out his first album, the window ep, in 2008. He spent the next few years learning lessons and honing his craft until he was ready to put out his first LP, Wiser Creatures, in 2012. You can find him either strolling the Mississauga suburbs, or in the heart of Toronto's downtown core, with a guitar invariably strapped to his back looking for the next spot where he can settle down and play a few songs.

Simultaneous youth and experience is a rare concoction. Rachel and Alisha MacGregor, both in their early 20s, are award winning sister songwriters. They've already completed two CD's and won numerous awards and accolades. Being sisters, they have a deep musical connection and ability to create harmonies that members of the same family seem to be born with. Since their last award-winning album, Dark Beauty, The MacGregors' songs have been accumulating and through encouragement of their friends and fans, its time to record again. There's been a lot of anticipation for these new songs and it is a labour of love for The MacGregors. Their new EP is called Keep it Simple Series (Volume 1).

Music (Ep 12)
Hue is made up of 3 best friends, a sister, and a ridiculously attractive bass player. Together they make incredibly catchy, fun, upbeat, infectious, dance around in your underwear, pop rock music that you will be humming to yourself long after the show ends. The band combines exuberant energy with unique live tactics that excite and involve fans of any musical taste. Over their career, the band has supported acts such as We Are Wolves, The Wooden Sky, Two Hours Traffic, Lights, Said The Whale, Hollerado, The Spades, Peter Katz and numerous others.
